Stormy Sea

Life is a stormy sea of waves and rain
Your boat is tossed and you look out in fear
The sun seems not to shine and you feel pain
The clouds oppress and darkness seems to leer
The waves will crash upon your darkened life
And you may feel as if no one is there
The sea is dark, foreboding, full of strife
The water churns and rages, yet you stare
And blinking back tears looking into night
You cry out for help, thinking "who will come?"
A light will not shine reaching hands, no sight
Despair portends to drown and seeming numb
A light shines forth a hand that reaches me
None other than the man from Galilee.

I really, really like it. It's a really great reminder, and one that I really needed. So, thanks. :)
